My name is Tyler Batchelder and I am the Owner of Tyler's PC Repair. I have an Associates Degree from Kirkwood Community College in Computer Support and over a decade of break/fix experience.
I began my career in technology in about 2014 by doing a deep dive into custom PC building. I had an old Toshiba Satellite laptop that I bought on Black Friday a few years before that was failing miserably and decided I wanted to build a custom gaming computer. After months of research teaching myself the in's and out's of computers, I finally purchased a truckload of parts (or what seemed to me like a truckload at the time) and was able to get it built and running! Ever since, I have been chasing that dragon and break/fix is something I'm truly passionate about.
Shortly after building a custom computer, I began classes at Kirkwood Community College to learn the foundations of computer functionality. During that time, I was employed at a break/fix shop called Digital Doc (since purchased by CPR Cell Phone Repair) where I learned how to fix consumer electronics. I really enjoyed my time there, but had to eventually move on.
After working at Digital Doc for a couple of years, and really loving what I was doing, I entered the enterprise space and have been part of an IT Service team since!
Beginning in the first quarter of 2025, I decided I wanted to pick up break/fix as a second job/passion project in order to get back into what I truly love; helping those in need with their everyday electronics!

Sender must cover all postage and packaging costs to and from Tyler's PC Repair.
Tyler's PC Repair is not responsible for damage, or loss of parcel during transit.
Sender is responsible for secure and appropriate packaging, as well as any tracking or insurance information related to the parcel.
Parcels are inspected upon delivery for visible damage/tampering. If damage/tampering is discovered that was not disclosed prior to shipping, the customer will be notified and approval will be requested prior to any further unpacking or repair.

1. Agreement to Terms
By submitting your device for repair, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms may be updated at any time without prior notice.
2. Diagnostics and Estimates
All diagnostics are either free or charged at a flat rate (if applicable). We will provide a repair estimate before any work is performed. You must approve the estimate before we begin repairs.
3. Repair Authorization
By leaving your device with us, you authorize our technicians to perform the necessary diagnostics and repairs. Unauthorized repairs or tampering by third parties may void any warranty.
4. Warranty on Repairs
We offer a 30-day warranty on parts and labor provided by our service. This warranty does not cover:
Physical damage
Water damage
Software issues or virus infections
Problems caused by misuse or third-party repairs
5. Data and Privacy
We recommend that you back up your data before bringing your device for repair. While we take all precautions, we are not responsible for data loss. We will not access or share your personal data unless necessary for the repair.
6. Unclaimed Devices
Devices not picked up within 90 days after notification of repair completion may be considered abandoned and become the property of the repair center.
7. Liability Limitations
Tyler's PC Repair is not liable for:
Any loss of data, programs, or personal information
Any further damage to the device during diagnostics or repair, especially in cases of pre-existing damage
Any indirect or consequential damages
8. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of repairs. We accept cash, and digital payments.
9. Manufacturer Warranties
Our repair service may void manufacturer warranties. It is your responsibility to verify any potential impacts on such warranties.
10. Return Policy
Due to the nature of repair services, all services are non-refundable once completed and accepted by the customer.
